1. Enter one or more epoch values
The tool accepts a single epoch value or multiple epoch values separated by new lines. You can paste your list directly into the Epoch List box.
- Supports seconds (10-digit), milliseconds (13-digit), and even 15–16 digit epoch formats.
- The converter automatically detects the epoch unit and adjusts accordingly.
- Blank lines are ignored, so you can paste raw data without formatting it.
2. Select the timezone for conversion
Use the Timezone dropdown to choose the region in which you want the converted date/time to appear. This helps you view timestamps relative to a specific location.
- Examples: UTC, London, India (IST), Sydney (AEST).
- Supports all offsets between UTC−12:00 and UTC+14:00.
- The conversion applies instantly as you change the timezone.
3. Choose the hours format (12-hour or 24-hour)
Select how you want the final time to be formatted:
- 12 HRS – Displays time as 01:23 PM
- 24 HRS – Displays time as 13:23
Changing this option automatically refreshes the displayed results.
4. View the converted results
As soon as you enter epoch values, the results panel displays the corresponding dates and times in your selected timezone and hour format.
- Each epoch is shown on a separate line.
- Invalid or unrecognized values are highlighted so you can fix them.
- Results update live as you change timezone or hour format.
5. Tips & best practices
- Use batch mode to convert logs, event timestamps, or analytics data quickly.
- Always check whether your source timestamps are in seconds or milliseconds.
- Use UTC if you want consistent values regardless of region.
- The tool performs all conversions locally in your browser – no data is sent to any server.
